In the age of tech, most people probably never witnessed the process of a book (you know, those things you probably don’t buy anymore) in the making. Made by Hand is a new short film series celebrating the people who make things by hand—sustainably, locally, and with a love for their craft. Local farmer Megan Paska from New York, has witnessed beekeeping as it morphed from an illegal (and possibly crazy) habit to a sustainable, community-supported skill. And with bees becoming a more and more endangered species, it is worth giving these very important creatures some attention.

Matthew Stephen Ward, known by his stage name M. Ward, is a singer-songwriter and guitarist who rose to prominence in the Portland, Oregon music scene. And we would like to share with you one of his 2012 tracks, called Clean Slate, form the beautiful album A Wasteland Compilation.
