Audrey Kawasaki, a 29 year old artist from L.A. makes paintings that will simply blow your mind. Her paintings made on wood, using only oil based paint, show young women that seem to reach into your soul.
Using the natural texture and warmth of the wood, she gives her painting a flair that is unequalled. Her paintings are quite the contradiction, somewhere erotic, but still innocent.
They are beautiful to look at, but somewhere down, the longer you look at it, most of her work seems to disturb you deep down.
Thumbs up for this amazing artist, she could come paint my kitchen table anytime!
