When you first see these images of all kinds of colorful birds, you might think they are actually distorted or touched up photographs. But they are paintings.

The artist Maurizio Bongiovanni, born in Tettnang, Germany, in 1979, now lives and works in Milan. And with a name like that you can not go wrong, you would say. The paintings by Bongiovanni, represented by Studio d’Arte Cannaviello, are all oil on canvas.
